About Mariel Laporte, MSN, FNP-C | Owner
Meet Mariel Laporte, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and owner of Healthy Glow Medical in Orlando, Florida. With a passion for helping patients look, feel, and function at their best, Mariel specializes in medical aesthetics, hormone replacement therapy, medical weight management, peptide therapy, and regenerative treatments.
Mariel brings a diverse clinical background to her practice, including experience in cardiology and advanced heart failure prior to beginning her medical aesthetics training in 2017. Her commitment to continued education has led her to pursue advanced training in hormone replacement therapy and metabolic health through WorldLink Medical, as well as training through the Institute for Functional Medicine. This education has further strengthened her understanding of hormonal health, metabolic dysfunction, and the complex factors that influence weight, energy, and overall well-being.
Through her work in hormone optimization and medical weight management, Mariel takes an individualized, comprehensive approach to patient care. She recognizes that successful weight management and hormonal health involve more than simply treating symptoms or achieving a number on the scale. Her approach incorporates detailed health assessments, laboratory evaluation, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-informed treatment strategies to help patients improve metabolic health, address hormonal concerns, achieve sustainable weight loss, and enhance their overall quality of life.
In addition to her expertise in hormone and metabolic health, Mariel has developed extensive experience in medical aesthetics and regenerative treatments. She is passionate about enhancing natural beauty while preserving each patient's unique features, helping patients look refreshed and rejuvenated without appearing overdone. Her training includes dermal fillers, Botox and other neuromodulators, Sculptra, PDO threads, chemical peels, advanced cosmetic lasers, radiofrequency microneedling, PRF, PRP, hair restoration, sclerotherapy, and other skin rejuvenation technologies.
